This is a new A3 device based on established GelSprinter technology and is targeted at the general office for daily A3 document output needs (i.e. MS Office applications) for workgroups of between 1 and 30 users.
In addition to the renowned GelSprinter features which make the technology so innovative, the GX 7000 has a surprising number of features, which will make it a success. More details can be found on the Pre launch page of the Gestetner Intranet/Agents Secure Web site.
- Fast 28.5 ppm draft/10.5 ppm laser quality speed – for all kinds of office use
- Very low hardware price for an A3 printer - If low volume A3 printing is necessary, this machine is a viable alternative to expensive lasers at a surprisingly low cost.
- Standard duplex printing – for booklet printing/brochures
- Small footprint for an A3 device – A3 devices usually take up the whole desk space. The GX 7000 is a genuine desktop device, which does not need a cabinet.
- Space saving flat top design – weights of up to 20KG can be stored on the flat top of the printer, enabling even more desktop space saving in a surprising way
- A3++ Capability – This is the only A3 printer in the NRG range capable of printing on 13” (330 mm) width paper through the optional bypass and up to 1295mm in length. It can also print on media up to 255 gsm through the bypass.
- Offset quality on special laser glossy paper – stunning results can be obtained through a combination of special laser grade glossy paper and RPCS driver settings, giving offset grade quality on single sheet prints. This machine can therefore produce excellent posters, POS material and high quality customer facing material at a resolution up to 3600 dpi.
- Optional paper tray – extra 250 sheet tray for different media
- Ultra low power consumption – 35W consumption when printing compared to over 1000W for normal A3 lasers. This is the ideal environmentally friendly printer.
- Modern charcoal look – the sleek black design will blend in naturally with modern office design
- Future Postscript Driver – Postscript will be available as a download from January 2008 onwards
- High Yield Gel Cartridges – This takes the same cartridges as the GX 5050n for low CPP.
