The SP C220n/221n/222dn represent a new range of small, simple, low cost A4 colour laser printers in three cofigurations, from GDI up to PS3.

These are additions to the range and will augment the NRG range of colour laser printers (replacing the P7431cn). The C7521n/C7521dn printers will run alongside these new printers until stock is exhausted, which will be approx. March 2008 – at which point they will be discontinued.

SP C220n/221n/222dn are designed to be sold as upgrades for existing low-end desktop colour and mono laser printers, and business colour inkjet users who wish to move to faster, higher quality devices. The printer design is extremely compact and can be classed as one of the smallest colour laser printer footprints in the world. However, for such small devices, the speed is remarkable – 16 ppm for the SP C220n and 20 ppm for the SP C221/222dn.

They have a curved, 2-tone modern look, which complements the modern office environment. They are uniquely asymmetric in design, which means they look similar and attractive from any angle – so purpose made for open plan offices.

This can be compared to older types of colour lasers with up to 14 different maintenance kits to replace.
